Renovations on the Lodge are complete. New guest lounge area around the circular fireplace has brand new furniture and is an inviting place to rest while you check in or to enjoy a homemade goody in the afternoon.
Moose Cabin is finished with all new furnishings, a new flat-screen TV, bed linens, and is ready to go. First guests are already booked for Memorial Day weekend.
Wild Rose Cabin is finished as well. The king size bed has new linens and new comfortable chairs in Rose to match the name. A new dining table is ready to use for guests wanting to use the full kitchen. First guests are enjoying the Rose tonight!
Bear Cabin still needs curtains and is being repainted. It will be ready for first guests already book for June 4.
Fisherman Cabin is finished with new curtains, a new bed and bed linens. This one comes with its own fishing rods and reels for guests use.
Lodge is sparkly clean and the new guest lounge looks very inviting. Kitchen is now up and running and ready to serve breakfast AND for those guests who don’t want to cook or drive 22 miles to Walden, we will cook you dinner (with advance reservations).
New animal visitors this week have been: Scruffy, a yearling moose, who comes around most every day; an otter family that enjoyed the pond…hope they didn’t eat too many fish; a pair of geese that we think have nested in the willows around the beaver ponds just north of our pond.
Today the web site is up and running and now guests can check availability and make reservations on-line. We will be posting regular blogs now to let everyone know how great summer can be in Gould, North Park, Jackson County, Colorado.
